The Child Health Consultation is a consultation aimed at the primary health care of babies and children. It focuses on integral development and physical and emotional well-being, ensuring healthy growth.

At Medilav, we establish a close relationship with families, getting to know the child’s medical history in detail and the factors that influence their health, playing a crucial role in preventing illnesses and promoting healthy habits from an early age.

The starting point for the whole process is always the child, because we understand the importance of knowing their family and social environment, as well as their particularities when it comes to growth and development.

We monitor each child’s growth and development, carrying out regular assessments to identify and intervene early in any health problems or developmental delays.
We monitor chronic diseases or specific health conditions that may affect the child.
We advise on the necessary immunizations, strictly following the National Vaccination Plan, and clarify any doubts about the importance of vaccinations.
We advise on healthy eating and lifestyle habits that promote balanced growth, appropriate to each stage of child development.
We identify signs of stress, anxiety or other emotional difficulties.
We monitor the child’s neuropsychomotor, auditory and visual development, ensuring that it is developing in line with expectations for their age.
We refer to paediatric subspecialties when necessary, ensuring specialized and integrated follow-up.

With an integrated and personalized approach, the aim is to contribute to the healthy and happy development of each child and adolescent, offering excellent health care and promoting a relationship of trust with the whole family.
