Afonso is a medical doctor with an Integrated Master&#8217;s Degree in Medicine from the University of Coimbra, with specific training in Psychiatry. In addition to his medical training, he has a postgraduate degree in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapies and has also been trained in Schema-Focused Psychotherapy. She has also completed Level A of the Interpersonal Psychotherapy Course, broadening her skills in psychotherapeutic support.  <\/p>\n<p>Throughout her career, she has developed experience in hospital contexts, carrying out internships in leading institutions, both in Portugal, such as the Magalh\u00e3es Lemos Hospital, the Santo Ant\u00f3nio University Hospital, the S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o University Hospital and the Pedro Hispano Hospital, and internationally, such as the IPUB Psychiatry Institute of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the Sleep Medicine Center of the Vrapce Psychiatric Hospital in Zagreb.
